1st Old Dalby Scout Group
We are a small but very active group with
our headquarters at the Scout Hut, Queensway, Old Dalby, Leicestershire.
There is a healthy flock of beavers under
the control of Mrs Tina Cank, a flourishing Cub Pack looked
after by Mrs Amanda Edwards, and a motley crew of rather loud
scouts who look after me (and our Group Scout Leader –
James Freeman).
Last year some of our activities included
an International Summer Camp, Swimming Gala, Raft Race (we won!)
and learning to ice skate. This year we hope to have a Survival
Summer Camp, go Youth Hostelling in the Peak District, win the
Raft Race again, learn to canoe and sleep in home-made hammocks!
