We have tried in the past to make it easier to navigate this site so that you can find the information you are after more quickly, whilst still being pleasing on the eyes.

The main topics can be accessed by the buttons underneath the title graphic. Above the graphic is a drop down menu system which allows you to view in-depth information about the village. If your browser does not support JavaScript this menu will be missing so we have included a site map with links to all the pages at the bottom.

If you have any comments or suggestions on how we may improve this site further, we would love to hear from you or if you have hit a problem whilst viewing the site, we would also like to hear about it so it can be put right.

The success of a village web site depends on the quality of the information it provides - we need help from the various organisations and clubs which organise the activities that take place within Old Dalby, to keep this site up to date. So if you have something you want published here, talk to us - we promise not to bite!!!!!

I’d like to make the people of Old Dalby aware of a local VW owners club I run. We are called MADVW. This translates to Melton and District VW Club. We meet from 6pm every first Monday of each month at The Red House in Nether Broughton. We also meet from 6pm every third Wednesday of each month at The Kings Head in Melton Mowbray. We welcome all people owning any VW be it air cooled, water cooled, old or new.
